Hiking in the Oberpinzgau
Unique nature experiences, coupled with healthy physical activity, in which the whole family can participate. The Hohe Tauern National Park is an important center for this sport and received in 2016 the "Mountain Sport Oscar" as the best hiking destination in Europe in the course of the "International Mountain Sports Day" in Utrecht.
The Nationalpark Hohe Tauern is of course not the only thing that we have to offer. But it is an expression of our appreciation of nature and culture. It is not just paradise for hiking, it also offers you an extensive range of leisure facilities surrounded by stunning natur.
Sporthotel Kogler is a certified hiking hotel.
Three guided hikes to natural jewels in the region are offered weekly, easy, medium and difficult, with a private shuttle to the starting point of each hike. In summer, from July to mid-September, there are six guided hikes per week. The Sporthotel Kogler and its staff not only offer a lot of information about the hiking destinations, but also backpacks and hiking poles.
